Research Enabling Grant Application

A. Letter of support
Applications must be accompanied by a letter from your department chair, division head, or designated academic dean, and should address:
the applicant's current work
the applicant's future potential for scholarly work and advancement in their field
how the School will participate in cost-charing for the funding of the candidate's request (course relief, research funds, time, resources, etc.)
why the School cannot cover the applicant's request
B. Plan for award use
Include a specific description of the project to be supported and a research plan detailing your current work and work to be accomplished during the grant year.
C. Proposed budget to accomplish this research plan
As stated in the program overview, the REG program is intended to provide scholars with financial support to enable research that would otherwise suffer due to significant child care or adult dependent care obligations. Please provide a detailed budget and justification statement that describes why you require a REG award to fund your proposed items.
Please provide a list of all grants currently supporting your work (including the amount of each grant and the percent effort). Please also list all other grants you have applied for in the last year and indicate the status of each grant.
